As I am totally inexperienced with site administration (well, not totally, but still), I feel there are a few points worth mentionning here.

First of all, I have built this site of my own free will, as a hobby. My original motivation being that I had left my academic life behind and I understood that I would probably never benefit again from "free" webhosting or email addresses. Due to my sentimental relationship with virtuality, this would not do: I had to find a new home. The result is that I bought this domain name and wrote the site hoping for it to me my permanent new home.

Since I understand that I am not alone in this situation and that many other people are named Robert-Nicoud, I have been thinking that I would be happy if other relatives of mine would share this place with me. Of course this brings the question of who and why and (...), so here are the rules:

  • You are in some way related to my family (your name is Robert-Nicoud?);
  • You are able to convince me that your page should be here;
  • The contents of your home is not in opposition to the law. That is, 1) they are not illegal in my/your/the provider's country, 2) they are in accordance with the (inter-subjective) rules of good taste and 3) when in doubt, with my own rules of good taste;
  • There is no such thing as the right to have your web page on this site.
I am necessarily playing the role of the dictator here.
